Forestry Pruning is a technique used for tremendously increasing the value of timber stands, by removing all of the limbs up to a certain height, allowing for entirely clear wood logs to be grown from that diameter out. Shortly after pruning, trees will heal over the limb stubs, and continue to grow clear lumber until their later harvest date. Our equipment is designed and ideal, for exactly these situations. Further advantages are fire ladder fuel reduction, aesthetics and mobility in the more open forests.
