The New Standard Pruning Saw is simply the fastest and most ergonomic saw for first lift forestry pruning applications.  The saw is 37inches long overall, with a 24” blade that cuts entirely on the pull stroke.  Blades are hook tooth configuration bandsaw blades, that are incredibly aggressive to cut with little or no down-pressure.  Saws are supplied with both a 3 tooth per inch and a 4tpi blade, for use on harder and softer woods respectively.

Long, smooth pull strokes will remove most forest branches up to 1” diameter or larger with one stroke.  The New Standard Saw weighs 22 oz.
